Both Hatred and Love
From now on both hatred and love unfurling from your side
Will utterly exhaust their significance in my life,
Since I have paid tears and sighs in return for your love’s tide
What further rewards could repay your fierce hatred and strife ?
And yet, if you would desert me to shed more bitter tears,
Heartlessly contemplating my eternally broken heart,
From the boundless torment, the ever deeper sorrow’s spears,
I’d sooner your wrathless voice said you’d forget me and we’d part.
